Fortified Wines - production methods and cheese pairings

Fortified wines are some of the most complex wines in the world, and offer great value for money in terms of price quality. We will taste 9 different sherry and port wines from dry to sweet styles, and discuss the production methods used for each style. As fortified wines are excellent with food, we will conduct a cheese pairing to see which is your favourite combo.  We will finish the night with two different vintage ports – one from 1997 and one from 2010. A treat not to be missed!

Class language: English

Light snacks (e.g. cheese and breadsticks) will be provided 

Open to all levels. Some prior knowledge is beneficial (such as WSET Level 2) however the class will be enjoyable to anyone interested in wine.
